5. Email Newsletter & Postal Advertising

E-mail advertising with registration for the newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information which allows us to check that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that the newsletter is sent with your consent. In the course of this, the potential recipient allows himself/herself to be added to a distribution list. Subsequently, the user is given the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. Only if the confirmation is received will the address be actively included in the distribution list. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The data protection measures are always subject to technical updates, for this reason we ask you to inform yourself about our data protection measures at regular intervals by consulting our data protection declaration.

Postal advertising and your right to object

Furthermore, we reserve the right to use your first and last name as well as your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in addressing our customers in an advertising manner, which are outweighed by the interests of our customers.

You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

8. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on our web pages to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and the collected ratings as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order.

This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

9. Cookies & Web Analysis

In order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer, which prevail within the framework of a balancing of interests. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). You can find out how long they are stored in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. Use of Google Analytics for web analysis

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (www.google.de), for website analysis. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. Google Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of our website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of our websites is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on our websites, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:

http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can click this link to prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics 360 on this website in the future. This will place an opt-out cookie on your terminal device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again.

10. Advertising via Marketing Networks

Google AdWords / Google Remarketing

We use Google AdWords to advertise our websites in Google search results and on third-party websites. For this purpose, the so-called remarketing cookie is set by Google when you visit our websites, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our websites, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests.

Further data processing will only take place if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalise the ads you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged into Google while visiting our websites, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data will be temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data in order to form target groups.

Google AdWords Remarketing is an offer of Google LLC (www.google.de). Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can deactivate the remarketing cookie via this link. In addition, you can obtain information from the Digital Advertising Alliance about the setting of cookies and make settings in this regard.

11. Social Media

Links to social networks are offered on our websites.

In order to increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, these links are not fully integrated into the page as plug-ins, but only using an HTML link. This integration ensures that when you call up a page of our website that contains such links, no connection is yet established with the servers of the provider of the respective social network.

If you click on one of the buttons, a new window of your browser opens and calls up the page of the respective service provider on which you can (if necessary after entering your login data) e.g. click on the share button.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the providers on their pages, as well as a contact option and your rights and setting options in this regard to protect your privacy, please refer to the data protection notices of the providers.
